Insurance

As a courtesy to you, we will gladly file any dental insurance claim. The only insurances we do not accept or file are Medicare, Medicaid, and Humana Gold. We are preferred providers for the following insurance companies: MetLife, BlueCross Blueshield of LA, Cigna, and United Concordia Dental. If you do not have insurance, please consider Care Credit as a convenient payment option.

Unfortunately, we cannot guarantee if or what amount your insurance will pay. We must stress that you, the patient or responsible party of the patient, are ultimately responsible for the total treatment fee. Balances unpaid after 90 days will be turned over to a collection agency. You will be responsible for any additional fees that may incur.

We will be happy to give you an estimate of what your insurance company might pay based on the limited information we have from that company. To highlight a common misconception, dental insurance was not designed to pay for the full amount of dental care. Most, if not all, dental policies do not pay 100% on anything more than cleanings, exams, and X-rays, and it’s not guaranteed that they will even pay 100% on those preventative services. The treatment recommended by our office is never based on what your insurance will pay but on what is necessary for your overall dental health and needs.

It is our privilege to provide you with the best dental care possible. We understand that time is valuable to us all, and for that reason, we ask that you respectfully comply to our office policy regarding appointments. Please confirm your appointments by responding to our messaging system or by calling our office. We have many patients that are waiting for appointments, and if your appointment is not confirmed, your reserved time may be offered to someone else and no longer available for you. Politely give us at least a 24 hours’ notice if you will be unable to make your scheduled appointment. If you miss an appointment with no prior notification, or if you do not give us a 24 hours’ notice of your cancellation, we reserve the right to charge a non-refundable deposit that must be paid before scheduling another appointment. Thank you for your cooperation.
